Ohio State is out of the national title picture, but the Buckeyes are still the favorites to win the Big Ten.

So it’s good news for Ohio State fans that when the Big Ten season starts on Saturday at home against Minnesota, running back Chris “Beanie” Wells is expected to be back on the field.

It adds to our arsenal,” coach Jim Tressel said.

That’s an understatement; the way Ohio State has looked without Wells, a more accurate assessment might be that Wells is Ohio State’s arsenal.

But while the Buckeyes are off to a disappointing start, with Wells on the field and freshman quarterback Terrelle Pryor looking like every bit the star he was hyped as being in high school, the Buckeyes should be just fine. Minnesota is off to a 4-0 start, but with Wells in the picture, I like Ohio State to win by about three touchdowns.
